Assalamualaikum, Yes it is that the time of the week again - the time we greet Friday. Allah ta'ala has picked some days in a year to be better than others. He also has picked some days in a week to be better than other days. Friday no doubt is a special day, selected by Allah ta'ala to be special as a mercy to all of us. It is narrated in Sahih Muslim: Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam was created and on it he was admitted to the Garden and on it he was expelled from it." So how do we treat the coming of this special day? Do we value our weekends' rest more?
